Trent'anni fa oggi usciva il singolo "Take It Away". La canzone, tratta dall'album "Tug Of War", raccontava la storia di una band, dall'ascesa fino alla fama e lanciava anche un messaggio.."Non si sa mai chi ti può ascoltare" . Nel video oltre a Paul e alla moglie Linda, un cast d'eccezione: l'attore John Hurt, che Paul  aveva conosciuto negli anni '60, Ringo Starr alla batteria, George Martin al piano, (Martin è anche produttore dell'album). 
La b-side del brano era "I'll give you a ring".
